My parents visited my husband and I when we were living in Phoenix, Arizona. We had a blast doing all kinds of things. We played miniature golf at Castles & Coasters. The palm trees, cactuses and flowers gave the course a luxurious look and feel to it. Afterward, we had an early dinner at Red Lobster, my favorite restaurant of all. My mom and I had lobster while my dad and husband had steak and shrimp.

The sun was setting by this time, but the air outside was still hot and dry. Next we went to the nearest Wal-Mart to gather up some household items we'd been needing. My parents were always better off than my husband and I were and they were determined to see that we had everything we needed.

Once back at the house we went for a swim in the pool. It was now just about dark. This was the perfect time for us to all go swimming as the harsh desert sun was no longer beating down on us. After we swam we decided to go back out for the dessert we'd passed up at Red Lobster. We ... more
